3. Image and Facial Data

Fotia may analyze or process images and faces of our registered users that appear in photos uploaded to the platform. This data may be used to:

Fotia does not analyze or process images and faces of non-registered persons depicted in photos uploaded to the platform, except to determine whether the person is not registered.

Fotia does not publicly disclose or sell personally identifiable facial data. We may, however, use aggregated, de-identified, or technical image data for research, analytics, product improvement, or commercial purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption, authentication, and restricted access. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and you use Fotia at your own risk.

If you choose not to consent or withdraw consent to certain data processing, then certain functions of the Services may be unavailable to you. For example, if you choose not to consent to processing of your facial information, then parts of the Services that depend on facial recognition will be unavailable to you. If you choose not to consent or withdraw your consent to processing any user data, you may choose to opt-in at any time.

8. Children's Privacy

Fotia is not designed for children under 16 years old. If we learn that a minor's information was improperly collected, it will be deleted promptly.

As part of the regular use of the app by persons over 16 years old, you may upload a photograph, video, or other visual media containing the image of a child. You agree that you will upload photos of such children only with parental or guardian consent, and you agree to assume responsibility for any uploads of photos made without such consent.

Information may be processed or stored in the United States or other countries where Fotia or its service providers operate.
